Joint Filler

Mountain Grout Strong

In situations where floor joints or holes need to be filled and an expanding polyurethane has the potential to make a mess, polyurea joint fillers are ideal. Mountain Grout MGP 168 is a two-component hybrid polyurea, elastomeric joint filler. The system is used to fill and protect joints in industrial concrete floors subjected to heavy hard-wheeled vehicles. It is ideal for spalled joint repair, random joint filling, patching, etc. The product is self-leveling, so can be made to cure flush with the slab in the joint it is filling. At 74ºF the gel time is about 4 minutes when mixed at a ratio of one to one by volume. Traffic ready time is about one hour.

Unique properties of this elastomer are its rapid cure and insensitivity to moisture. The formulation contains 100% solids, ships as non-hazardous, and is non-flammable. It cures to an inert, non-toxic, permanent seal. MGP168 has excellent resistance and durability, outstanding adhesion to concrete, and can be used in cold environments, such as walk in coolers and freezers.  Mountain Grout MGP 168 is available in 250 gallon totes, 50 gallon drums, 5 gallon pails and 600 mL dual cartridges.
